Do you have an interest in the fire service?
We are ideally looking for people with a keen interest in the Fire Service; We are however NOT an emergency (999) service and should not be confused with your local fire service, however as part of our crew we have a mixture of civilian, active and ex-serving fire service personnel.
We meet for our drill evening once a week and actively follow a twelve-week training schedule in order to maintain a high level of competency in-line with the current fire service manuals particularly focused in the area's of the services we provide.
Working in the community
As well as providing commercial services such as Event Fire Cover and Film and Television support, we also help in the local community, our crew members throughout the summer months regularly attend village fetes where we demonstrate the equipment we carry, allow children sit in and look around our vehicles.
During the wetter months of the year we have been called upon to provide emergency flood pumping in homes and commercial properties so as you can see the types of work we get called to really does vary, at times it is both challenging and rewarding!
Become part of a team...
At Warrior Fire and Rescue we think of our crew as a family, we have worked alongside each other for many years, there is a great feeling about working together as a team, so if you are a team player and able to volunteer your time we'd love to hear from you!
If this sounds like your kind of thing, we only ask that you are able to meet our minimum requirements of which are:-
- Aged between 18 and 65 (for insurance purposes).
- Be able to attend a weekly drill night and participate in the training drills.
- Be willing to learn and be a 'team player'.
